Andrew has over 30 years of experience within the community services (including health) and education sectors. This has included an extensive background in emergency department nursing, requiring critical thinking to assess health, detect changes in symptoms, health and pain and to know when action is nessary; compassion to support people in various states of pain, trauma and tragedy; attention to detail in order to assist with operations, administer medications and work with specific treatments; organisation skills to support multiple people with differing needs, stages of health and risks; patience and keeping calm under pressure to provide support and keep others calm under stressful circumstances and to function in urgent life or death situations; and communication skills to work with healthcare professionals and to support people and their families who may be scared, in pain or in shock.
Barbara (Northern Territory):
Barbara started her career at the age of 14, working part-time as a television presenter for a children’s program, broadcast via satellite by Golden West Network to a large expanse of Australia while still at high school. Over the next 20 years she forged a successful career in the film and television industry (winning numerous awards). To supplement this career, Barbara also expanded into many other areas creating a rich spectrum of skills and experience (including working for Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association, Act for Kids and Tall Trees Care Communities). Family life motivated Barbara to pursue an alternative career path. With exceptional and well-practiced skills in time management, system organisation, database management, quality management systems and customer relations, Barbara moved into professional development. Barbara has her own consultancy, “The Time Tamer” providing expertise in time management, productivity and stress management coaching.
Carmella (South Australia):
Carmella has over 22 years of experience within the community services and education sectors, specialising in early childhood education and care. Her qualifications include an Associate Diploma of Social Science (Child Care), Advanced Diploma of Children's Services, Diploma of Children's Services, Diploma in Community Services Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate in Vocational Education (Health and Community Services), Certificate in Infant Mental Health and Certificate in Play Therapy. She is also an approved Circle of Security (Parenting) Trainer.
Francie (South Australia):

Norman 'Crow' (Northern Territory):

He has over 27 years of experience within blue collar occupations.
